Rick Stewart Rick Stewart

Rick is a retired Naval Aviator with more than 20 years of service.  During his career in the Navy he flew over 2500 single seat jet hours and 800 carrier landings. 
He completed five extended deployments in the Western Pacific/Indian Ocean and Mediterranean.  While living in Italy for two years he negotiated international training agreements with numerous senior level military leaders throughout the Mediterranean including Israel, Greece, France, Egypt, and Morocco.  During other assignments he designed and directed practical training programs in national strategic studies and ethics for both domestic and international audiences.
He taught at the Canadian Forces War College in Toronto and completed his career teaching Leadership and Ethics at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  While in that capacity he was the U.S. Navy member on the Board of Directors of the Joint Conference on Professional Ethics, the Defense Departments governing organization on ethics in the Services.
Rick is currently a senior program manager and consultant at IBM.  He is the former Chairman of the Longmont Airport Advisory Board and the Memorial Day Ceremony Director for the Bolder Boulder 10K race.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Virginia and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Denver.
Rick is the son of a Naval Aviator who completed 30 years of service including 3 tours in Vietnam flying from the USS Ranger and USS Constellation. 
Rick is married to Kimberly Lord Stewart, author, journalist and daughter of a retired USAF pilot.  He has two sons Kyle and Ian.
