Program Qualifications For Assistance

We provide emergency financial assistance to combat veterans & their families who are

  • Enrolled in the American Military Family GY6 Program and are 
  • Post 9/11 veteran 
  • With a VA diagnosis of Post -Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • A Colorado resident.

Only one request per household will be considered.  Repeat requests will automatically be denied.
Must provide a copy of your DD214 –Please blacken out your social security number prior to delivery to American Military Family

Your application is not completed and will not be reviewed until the following documents are received:                                 LES/DD214/Additional Pay Stubs.

Emergency Financial Assistance

We provide Emergency Financial Assistance for Urgent financial needs:

Rental assistance to avoid eviction, utilities assistance to avoid shut off notices. Interim housing while veterans are awaiting permanent housing and we provide gift cards for food, toiletries and gasoline.
